About the Design Consultant Role:

As the Design Consultant, you’ll play an important role in helping continue to grow a solid fan base of loyal and highly satisfied customers. This is a great opportunity for a strategic individual to hone a creative, customer-centric approach to driving sales, growing a core customer base, enriching current customer relationships, and contributing to a generous and supportive team environment. 


As the Design Consultant, you’ll get to:

Connect with Core Customers – You’ll spend approximately 40% of your time developing a proactive sales strategy to attract and partner with customers to design beautiful spaces. You’ll add value to the customer experience by helping customers solve parallel challenges through connecting them with relevant customers in our network. You’ll be the face of the company within the community, continually building a robust network, and represent them in industry associations. 

Promote the Brand – You’ll devote an average of 20% of your time promoting our clients brand through providing exceptional, customer-centric design experiences.  

Keep a pulse on the local Phoenix economy and trends. Naturally, a creative and innovative sales strategy will require you to keep a close eye on the local economy and trends so that you can identify and connect with key players on large projects. You’ll be expected to spend roughly 30% of your time staying ahead of trends and anticipating needs to develop new products. You’ll become a subject matter expert on all product offerings so that you can creatively customize an informed presentation of the best possible fine tile and stone selections according to each customer’s project constraints.

 

Get results. The standard of excellence is achieved by a customized client-care approach which gets results including driving sales, increasing revenue, and improving customer retention.

These are the skills and background you’ll bring with you:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience is desirable
  • Background in interior design or related field is desirable
  • Possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license
