Member of Technical Staff (Backend, Product Engineering)

About the Role

We’re looking for a backend product engineer excited to own critical systems and shape the future of healthcare automation. You’ll architect, build, and scale backend systems that power an AI-driven platform, turning messy unstructured data into structured insights that improve patient care.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role working directly with the founding team and enterprise customers. If you love solving complex problems and shipping meaningful product features, you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and test scalable backend systems for an unstructured data platform.
• Own key product features end-to-end—from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with founders and enterprise healthcare customers to deliver solutions that streamline operations.
• Advance an AI agent that transforms documents into clean, structured data.
• Lead initiatives to increase prior authorization approvals and improve clinical decision-making.
• Optimize and scale infrastructure to handle millions of clinical datapoints.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of professional experience building and deploying backend systems.
• Strong track record of shipping impactful product features.
• Comfortable designing complex architectures and testing full-stack code end-to-end.
• Bonus: experience with LLMs, RAG, Temporal, Puppeteer, or workflow automation frameworks.
• Experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Compensation & Details

• Salary: $100K – $225K
• Equity: 0.20% – 1.50%
• Work Policy: On-site in San Francisco (visa sponsorship not available)
