Software Engineer

Full-time | On-site | San Francisco, CA

About the Role

We’re seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize systems that push the limits of AI performance and inference speed.

You’ll work on cutting-edge context optimization technologies that directly impact user experience, product quality, and revenue.

This role is ideal for an engineer who’s analytical, performance-obsessed, and passionate about creating self-improving systems.

You’ll own critical components of our infrastructure, run live experiments, and deliver measurable gains in system efficiency and latency.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Core Systems: Design and maintain high-performance optimization pipelines that improve inference-time efficiency.

  • Experiment in Production: Run live A/B tests and measure impact in real-world environments.

  • Optimize Latency: Analyze and improve system performance — celebrate every millisecond shaved off.

  • Innovate on Context Optimization: Develop new approaches to dynamically manage and refine model context.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product and research teams to deliver measurable user and business outcomes.

  • Ship Relentlessly: Operate in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment where ownership and execution matter.

Who You Are

  • Strong command of modern web fundamentals and system-level engineering.

  • Hands-on experience building AI agents or optimizing inference-time performance.

  • Deep understanding of data processing, context management, or distributed systems.

  • Pragmatic problem solver who combines theoretical rigor with practical execution.

  • Proven record of excellence — whether through exceptional projects, early startup impact, or standout academic achievement.

  • Passionate learner who thrives on experimentation and iteration.
