In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and implementing advanced Emerson DeltaV automation solutions for the Life Sciences industry.

What you’ll be doing:
- Developing, configuring, and implementing Emerson DeltaV control systems in alignment with customer specifications and industry best practices
- Designing and programming ISA-88 batch processes and DeltaV batch configurations
- Collaborating with clients in Life Sciences to deliver tailored automation solutions
- Engineering system architecture, instrumentation specifications, and control strategies to optimize manufacturing efficiency
- Configuring controllers, HMI, and historian solutions while ensuring compliance with cGMP, GAMP5, and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations
- Conducting FAT/SAT, system startups, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Preparing validation documentation and ensuring compliance with system/software development life cycle methodologies
- Partnering with cross-functional teams (process, validation, electrical, and project engineers) to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
- Montoring junior engineers and fostering technical growth within the team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

Extensive hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV (design, implementation, configuration) AND PLC systems
- Strong knowledge of ISA-88 batch processing and DeltaV batch configuration
- Experience in Life Sciences, Biotech, Pharma, or Medical Device environments
- Familiarity with automation protocols: Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, Profibus, OPC, Foundation Fieldbus, and HART
- Strong understanding of cGMP, GAMP5, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements
- Proven experience conducting FAT/SAT, startup, and commissioning activities
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex automation issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team on industrial/manufacturing automation projects
- Willingness to travel up to 25% and work extended hours or weekends if required
