Account Executive – Legal

About the Role


We’re hiring an Account Executive to help build and scale a fast-growing legal recruiting vertical within a high-velocity tech-driven recruiting marketplace.


This is a hands-on, business development–focused role where you’ll own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and outreach to closing partnerships with top law firms.


You’ll leverage your background in legal recruiting to grow the vertical’s footprint, working with leadership to expand revenue from $10M to $100M+ and position the platform as the go-to solution for modern legal hiring.


The ideal candidate combines strong client management skills with an entrepreneurial mindset and a deep understanding of how law firms evaluate and engage recruiting partners.


What You’ll Do


  • Own and manage the full sales cycle — from sourcing and outreach to pitching, negotiation, and close.


  • Build and expand relationships with AM Law 100 firms, top boutiques, and in-house legal teams.


  • Identify new market opportunities and create strategies for vertical growth.


  • Collaborate closely with leadership to shape go-to-market strategy, pricing, and positioning.


  • Partner cross-functionally with recruiting operations to ensure client success and retention.


  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and performance metrics.


What We’re Looking For


  • 3+ years of experience in legal recruiting or business development within a legal agency.


  • Proven track record of closing new business and exceeding sales targets.


  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.


  • Deep understanding of the law firm hiring process and legal recruiting dynamics.


  • High level of ownership, adaptability, and curiosity in a fast-paced startup environment.


  • Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco (on-site role).
