Territory Account Executive (SoCal)

About the Role


We’re looking for a Territory Account Executive to own and grow our Southern California market.


You’ll be responsible for driving new business, managing complex sales cycles, and closing mid-market deals that combine SaaS and payments revenue.


This role is ideal for a high-performing closer who thrives in the field, moves fast, and loves selling into fast-changing industries. You’ll join a startup environment where grit, curiosity, and adaptability matter as much as sales acumen.


What You’ll Do


  • Close New Business: Manage a $1M annual quota with average contract values around $36K ACV.


  • Run Full Sales Cycles: Lead 2–5 week deal cycles, engaging multiple stakeholders with precision and authenticity.


  • Own Your Territory: Prospect, build relationships, and drive pipeline across SoCal, operating with full accountability for your market.


  • Become a Product Expert: Master the platform and articulate its value to prospects in clear, compelling ways.


  • Operate with Agility: Adapt quickly to change, feedback, and evolving market conditions.


  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with marketing, product, and operations to refine messaging and improve customer outcomes.


  • Deliver Value, Not Pitches: Lead thoughtful, consultative conversations that educate and excite buyers.


  • Gather Market Intelligence: Act as an “information hustler,” surfacing insights about buyers, competitors, and product opportunities.


Who You Are


  • 2+ years of closing experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales, ideally in a startup or field sales environment.


  • Proven ability to close mid-market deals ($30K–$50K ACV) with multiple stakeholders.


  • Highly coachable, curious, and self-starting with a strong growth mindset.


  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.


  • Comfortable managing field sales cycles and driving in-person engagements.


  • Bonus: Experience in food & beverage, POS/payments, or grocery/retail tech.


Work Environment


  • Location: Los Angeles, CA (Southern California territory)


  • Schedule: On-site and field-based — you’ll spend most of your time engaging clients in person.

Compensation & Benefits


  • Base Salary: $75K–$120K


  • OTE: $150K–$240K (uncapped commissions with accelerators up to 2.5x)
