About the Role
We’re seeking a highly analytical Technology Controls Analyst to support the design, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive technology control framework for a global fintech organization.
This role sits within the second line of defense and is critical in ensuring strong governance, compliance, and operational resilience across complex technical environments.
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Security, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance teams to assess controls, monitor compliance with regulatory and internal frameworks, and drive continuous improvement of risk management programs.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute IT process and gap assessments against industry standards (COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, ITIL).
- Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness across infrastructure, cloud, network, and application layers.
- Maintain and enhance the technology controls inventory to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory obligations.
- Collaborate with Security, IT, Engineering, and Governance teams to ensure accountability in control ownership.
- Support the development and automation of continuous control monitoring and reporting.
- Provide technical insight on change management processes (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, code deployment, testing protocols).
- Draft and communicate findings, develop remediation plans, and track issue resolution.
- Create clear documentation including runbooks, process narratives, and training materials for first-line risk management teams.
- Assist in defining technology requirements for new products and evolving regulatory expectations.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Technology Risk, GRC, or IT Audit roles.
- Deep understanding of technology frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, and control assurance methodologies.
- Hands-on experience assessing or implementing technical controls in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- Ability to translate technical risks into clear, actionable recommendations for business and engineering teams.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Proactive problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and can drive outcomes with minimal supervision.
- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Security Specialty or equivalent)
- Security certifications (CISA, CISSP, or COBIT)
- Experience in fintech, digital assets, or regulated financial institutions
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $135K – $159K (localized by region)
