Senior Analyst, Technology Risk

About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Analyst, Technology Risk to help design and scale risk management programs across a complex, high-growth technology organization.
This is a highly visible role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from the ground up, and can translate technical and operational risk into actionable insights for leadership.
The ideal candidate has experience in first- or second-line risk management, governance, or GRC functions, with deep understanding of modern technology stacks and evolving risk domains like cloud, crypto, and mobile infrastructure.
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to assess, quantify, and mitigate technology risks, ensuring the business can innovate responsibly at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze key variables such as threat intelligence, risk signals, and control effectiveness to inform models and methodologies.
- Translate quantitative and qualitative risk tradeoffs into clear business recommendations for technical and leadership teams.
- Own the risk lifecycle — from intake and triage to analysis, calculation, and reporting.
- Maintain a centralized risk register, ensuring accuracy, automation, and data integrity.
- Develop and refine risk scoring frameworks and help establish metrics for reporting to senior leadership.
- Partner with engineering, compliance, and enterprise risk teams to escalate, monitor, and mitigate high-priority risks.
- Conduct and support technical risk assessments across production and corporate systems.
- Build and roll out communication and training programs to scale risk culture across teams.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a technology risk, GRC, or enterprise risk function within a first or second line of defense.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex risk data into actionable insights.
- Hands-on familiarity with COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, NIST, or similar frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills — capable of bridging the gap between technical detail and executive-level impact.
- Experience working in FinTech, TradFi, consulting, or technical program management preferred.
- Comfort operating in fast-moving, less structured risk environments.
- Understanding of emerging risks in cloud, crypto, or mobile technologies is a plus.

Base Salary: $167K – $196K (based on location)
