Executive Chef for a luxury resort in the Caribbean


We are seeking an Executive Chef with Michelin star cuisine experience for a newly renovated luxury resort in the Caribbean.

This is a food focused property and Michelin experience is a must.

Title: Executive Chef

Location: St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda

About the Company:

  • Luxury resort recently refurbished and very good focused.
  • Part of a 50 year old luxury resort group with 5 properties in the Caribbean
  • Very low turnover in the company, the previous chef was with the company for 17 years.  
  • Resort has 3 restaurants and a chefs kitchen garden


About the Job:

  • Oversee all culinary operations at resort, ensuring unforgettable dining experiences across three beachfront restaurants.
  • Guide and motivate a talented team of chefs to achieve new heights of culinary excellence.
  • Create Michelin level cuisine showcasing the finest local and international ingredients.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Contribute significantly to the ongoing success of a world-class resort and shape its culinary identity, participate in food festivals etc.

Requirements:

  • Michelin Star Experience: Proven track record in Michelin-starred restaurants and luxury hotel experience preferred
  • Culinary Expertise: Exceptional culinary skills and creativity
  • Leadership: Ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Passion for Excellence: Commitment to delivering world-class dining experiences
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic resort environment


Please note due to the lack of quality schools, this position is not suitable for someone with school age children.
