Leading hospitality group with 13 casual dining home grown brands across the UAE.

The company requires Dubai based Restaurant Manager for locations across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

Locations vary from 120-350 capacity, teams of 50-120 depending on size of the store.


The Restaurant Manager will have overall responsibility of store performance, managing and maintaining the daily operations, financials & Profitability, food

cost, wastage, staff performance, training, maintenance, guest satisfaction, and product consistency.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and ensure smooth functioning of third party delivery applications
  • Managing all activities of the operations, including the bar area, the service and the hosting.
  • Monitoring the setting up / opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
  • Monitoring the re-stocking of the service area and condiments.
  • Assuring proper safety, hygiene and sanitations are followed.
  • Moving throughout the facility and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met.
  • Verify temperatures, judge appearance and taste of products and check preparation methods to determine quality.
  • Giving guidance towards improvement and make necessary adjustments for consistency
  • Ensuring that all standards and cash handling procedures are met.
  • Soliciting feedback from guests concerning food, beverages, service and improvement ideas.
  • Supporting the entire Food & Beverage operation including supervising other areas if necessary, handling special projects, running promotions, handling public relations and marketing.
  • Setting-up special events.
  • Working closely with Marketing and Social Media Manager to ensure that all promotions and collateral updates (including social media and website information and menu updates) are done in a timely matter.
  • Providing a clean and safe environment by assigning and assisting with cleaning.
  • Ensuring maintenance of equipment by calling for repairs and training staff on proper use by using proper standard operating procedures to report and fix these issues.
  • Resolving problems to the satisfaction of involved parties.
  • Organizing and conducting pre-shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information to the staff, such as house count and menu changes. Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments.
  • Liaising with the head chef to ensure a smooth day to day operation.
  • Making guests feel at home and taken care of throughout their experience.
  • Human Resource Related Duties:
  • Attending mandatory meetings including divisional meetings, staff meetings, etc.
  • Interviewing, selecting, training, supervising, counselling and disciplining outlet staff for the efficient operation of the outlet.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal laws.
  • Ensuring adequate staffing levels for anticipated business during shift.
  • Coaching staff to adhere to outlet service standards.
  • Demonstrating positive leadership characteristics which inspire team members to meet and exceed standards.
  • Administrative/Financial Duties:
  • Maintaining rapport with all departments and attend relevant meetings.
  • Maintaining profitability of outlet. Control payroll and equipment costs(minimizing loss and misuse). Ensure par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory, ordering and retrieving supplies.
  • Evaluating cost effectiveness of all aspects of operation. Develop and implement cost-saving and profit-enhancing measures.
  • Utilizing computer to accurately charge customers, create forecast and revenue reports and write correspondence. Input and retrieve data, program system (POS).
  • Ensuring all daily and monthly reports are detailed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Utilizing traditional software program such as Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and/or Outlook Express.
  • Conducting competitive research and report trends and recommendations.


Requirements


  • Dubai experience as Restaurant Manager or Restaurant General Manager
  • Knowledge of local UAE municipal laws
  • 3-5 years of restaurant senior management experience
  • Must have had full P&L accountability before as this is the senior role running the location
  • Reporting into the Head of F&B Division
  • English, Arabic a strong advantage
  • Computer literate
  • Must have mobility, be able to travel as the location will be Dubai, Sharjah or Abu Dhabi.

Salary and Benefits:


  • 15000- 22000 AED Total package ( Basic + Housing Allowance + Transport = Total Package )
