Situated along the stunning shores of St.John, this newly opened, vibrant destination offers a unique blend of Mediterranean cuisine and sushi. With distinct spaces including a chic restaurant and beach bar/lounge, the venue delivers a luxurious yet laid-back experience. As they have transitioned from opening to fully operational, the owners are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead and elevate the operations.
100 seating capacity in the restaurant and 35 at the beach bar/lounge.
Role Overview:
Seeking a hands-on General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations. Reporting directly to the owners, the GM will take full responsibility for all aspects of the business, from staff management to financial performance. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a new venue, requiring an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to building processes and a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership: Oversee and manage all daily operations across the restaurant, beach club to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Team Development: Hire, train, and develop a cohesive team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and guest satisfaction.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Establish and implement clear SOPs for all aspects of service, ensuring consistency and operational efficiency.

Financial Management: Take ownership of the P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to drive revenue and profitability.

Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with ownership to drive marketing initiatives, including local outreach, special events, and social media strategies to increase brand awareness and foot traffic.

Guest Experience: Ensure outstanding guest service, handling any issues with professionalism and a solutions-oriented mindset.

Inventory & Compliance: Oversee inventory management, procurement, and ensure compliance with local regulations and health standards.

Reporting: Provide regular performance reports and insights to ownership, offering strategic recommendations for ongoing growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
Must be US national or Green Card Holder, no passort required if US citizen.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in an upscale casual restaurant, beach club, or hospitality setting.
- Strong understanding of both bar and restaurant operations, including cocktail programs and food service.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and enforce SOPs and operational processes.
- Financial acumen with a track record of managing P&L and driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional leadership and team development skills with a hands-on, collaborative approach.
- Marketing savvy, with experience driving local promotions, events, and social media engagement.
- Ability to thrive in a start-up environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.
