INDUSTRIAL MACHINE REPAIR TECHNICIAN - 2ND SHIFT

Waukesha, WI (Milwaukee metro) | Full-time, direct hire

Schedule: 2nd Shift

Pay: $29.00 to $35.00+/hour depending on experience

Willing to train candidates with strong mechanical aptitude

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A long-established casting and machining manufacturer in Waukesha, WI, producing engineered metal components for aerospace, petrochemical, mining, nuclear power and turbine engine markets, is adding an Industrial Machine Repair Technician to its 2nd shift maintenance team.



WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Repair and maintain CNC and manual machine tools and support equipment

- Diagnose machine issues, then complete disassembly, inspection and repair

- Take part in complete machine rebuilds

- Lay out and machine replacement components as needed to finish repairs

- Check and correct machine alignments

- Remove and install precision bearings

- Coordinate repair projects as needed

WHAT YOU NEED

- Experience repairing CNC and manual machine tools preferred

- Heavy industrial and mechanical equipment experience a plus

- Technical education in industrial machine repair, an apprenticeship, or similar education and experience preferred

- Ability to take on and complete projects with minimal supervision

- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs

- Ability to climb, kneel, crawl and reach into tight areas of equipment
