HiFyve is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry in Saint Paul, MN!

Salary: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd shift - 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Location: Saint Paul, MN 55104

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems such as bearings, electrical motors up to 5 HP, pumps, water filter systems, RO water systems, rectifiers, fans, low-pressure boiler and condensate system, hoists, forklifts, air compressors, and chillers.
• Layout, mount, and assemble PVC, steel, and stainless ½” to 2” piping for incoming water, wastewater, steam, condensate, and compressed air.
• Sketch and fabricate steel and stainless-steel welded fixtures for various production jobs and equipment mounts.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning and availability of equipment as requested.
• Perform equipment calibrations to specifications.
• Conduct general building upkeep procedures (carpentry, painting, epoxy floor patching, etc.).
• Work diligently along with Operations teams to ensure all equipment is tested and working in a safe and proper manner.
• Other duties and responsibilities as requested and needed.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proven experience maintaining and repairing equipment such as pumps, boilers, steam condensate lines, hoists, and industrial ovens.
• Knowledge of 110V/220V electrical wiring and electrical junction boxes.
• Ability to thread and glue steel & PVC piping.
• Proficient in stick and wire feed welding of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Low pressure boiler license is a plus.
• Experience laying out and welding structural walkway supports and other items.
• Handling hazardous chemicals experience is helpful.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Upbeat and positive personality.
• Good communication skills with management and coworkers.
• Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to read and speak basic English.
