Position Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Staff Engineer to lead engineering design projects and provide advanced technical support across the organization. This role will oversee engineering calculations, design reviews, and process improvements while mentoring junior team members and ensuring all projects meet quality, safety, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and review process and structural engineering calculations and designs

• Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring technical accuracy and efficiency

• Prepare and review design drawings, documentation, and project specifications

• Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and customers to align project goals

• Troubleshoot and resolve design or process issues during production

• Drive continuous improvement to enhance manufacturability and reduce rework

• Provide training and mentorship to Designers and Design Engineers

• Serve as a subject matter expert for complex engineering challenges

• Support quoting and technical evaluations for new projects

• Maintain document control and ensure compliance with company standards

• Travel up to 15% (including international) as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required

• 7+ years of engineering experience preferred

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering design tools

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects independently

• Proven leadership and mentoring skills

• Valid driver’s license required
