Salary: $35 - $40/hr

Shift: 8 am to 5 pm M-F

Location: Kansas City, MO



Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced CNC Mill Lead to support precision machining operations in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. This role is hands-on and leadership-oriented, with responsibility for CNC programming, setup, quality, and mentoring machinists. Ideal candidates bring strong Mastercam expertise, 5-axis experience, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program and develop CNC milling operations using Mastercam (3-, 4-, and 5-axis)
• Set up and optimize vertical and horizontal milling centers using Fanuc controls
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs for efficiency and quality
• Lead and train machinists on setups, processes, and best practices

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 5+ years of CNC programming experience with Mastercam, including 5-axis work
• Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of GD&T and machining tolerances
• Knowledge of metal properties, tooling, fixturing, and machining processes
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and manage multiple priorities
• Dependable, self-motivated professional open to overtime or weekend work as needed
