Pay: $20.20/hr

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM–4:45 PM

Location: Hummelstown, PA

About the Role

This role supports quality assurance and food safety programs within a manufacturing environment. The QA Technician performs product testing, documentation, and lab activities to ensure products meet internal and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform analytical and sensory testing on raw materials and finished products
• Review and release ingredients and products within inventory and quality systems
• Prepare, organize, and clean up product samples for testing
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Monitor product quality and report any deviations or out-of-spec results
• Complete documentation and data entry accurately and in a timely manner
• Support food safety and quality programs, including environmental monitoring
• Partner with operations to maintain high standards of food safety and quality
• Follow all GMPs, safety, and sanitation requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in food science or related field preferred
• Experience in food manufacturing, lab testing, or quality assurance preferred
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and basic testing methods
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and data entry systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot, and support corrective actions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
