HiFyve is hiring a Sales Account Manager!


Salary: $70,000–$130,000 + 5% bonus eligibility

Travel: 50%–75% (up to 2 weeks per month)

Location: Candidate can be based in Kansas City, MO; St. Louis Park, MN; Chicago, IL; Springfield, MO; or Dallas, TX. Hybrid work arrangement with remote flexibility and on-site time in a local office. Easy access to an airport required.


About the Role:

We’re seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Sales Account Manager to lead growth efforts in the Taste & Flavor division of a national food and beverage company. In this role, you’ll own your territory like a business—developing deep customer relationships, identifying opportunities across a diverse dairy-based product portfolio, and delivering solutions that benefit customers and consumers alike.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the business owner of your territory, using a solutions-based, entrepreneurial sales approach
  • Cultivate customer relationships and build insight-driven strategies
  • Leverage segmentation tools and account intel to prioritize activities and maximize ROI
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to propose and implement value-added dairy-based solutions
  • Maintain sales pipelines and forecasts to support supply chain planning
  • Deliver presentations and product demos in collaboration with Marketing
  • Manage customer activity using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and PowerBI
  • Resolve customer challenges with urgency and transparency, maintaining a high standard of service
  • Facilitate peer-to-peer connections across customer departments (R&D, Marketing, QA, etc.)
  • Stay current on industry trends to support consultative sales strategies


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Food Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles
  • Background in food, beverage, or flavor manufacturing preferred
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and relationships independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and data analysis tools
  • Willingness to travel 50%–75%
