HiFyve is hiring a CNC Team Leader (2nd Shift) in the Material Handling Manufacturing industry in Franklin, IN!
Salary: $23.30/hour base + $3.00/hour (Lead/Shift Diff) = $26.60/hour total
Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Occasional Saturday overtime)
Location: On-site | Franklin, IN
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operation of the CNC machining and production team to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction are achieved.
- Perform CNC tool setups, tool changes, and offset adjustments to support efficient production.
- Troubleshoot CNC machines and respond to production issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Conduct required quality inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Monitor production output, record process data, and ensure daily production goals are met.
- Coordinate with the Production Manager and Quality team to resolve production and quality-related concerns.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities and inspect fixtures and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Train, coach, and support team members while maintaining accountability for performance and adherence to company standards.
- Fill in across departmental processes as needed to support staffing requirements and production demands.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Trade school preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Previous CNC machining experience required.
- Experience operating, troubleshooting, and setting up CNC equipment.
- Prior experience leading or training employees in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
- Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and mathematical skills.
- Experience using hand, pneumatic, and power tools.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
