Salary: $60,000–$65,000 base (during development program)

Shift: Full-Time

Location: Springfield, MO (or remote with 1–2 weeks of travel to Springfield per quarter)

About the Role

This milestone-based development program is designed for an early-career technical professional who wants to grow into a Technical Sales Engineer role. The position blends hands-on technical training, field exposure, and customer interaction before transitioning into a commissioned sales role.

Job Responsibilities

• Support sales, service, and engineering teams with technical and application needs
• Travel to customer sites for demonstrations and equipment evaluations
• Translate customer requirements into technical concepts and configurations
• Learn equipment systems, fabrication methods, and product lifecycles
• Assist with aftermarket parts support, service activities, and basic design modifications
• Participate in testing, final acceptance, and product validation
• Utilize CRM, quoting tools, and internal sales systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, service, and sales
• Learn Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Electrical, and structured sales processes

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and technical aptitude
• High interpersonal and communication skills
• Competitive drive with long-term interest in technical sales
• Ability to operate independently in a travel-based role
• Comfortable working across technical and commercial teams
• Technical degree or coursework preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in office, manufacturing, and customer environments
