HiFyve is hiring a Machine Operator for a Packaging facility!

Pay: $19–24/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift – 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday–Thursday

Location: Kansas City, KS

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor folder gluer machinery used in packaging production
• Perform machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers for different packaging specifications
• Ensure proper alignment, folding, gluing, and bonding of materials
• Monitor production quality and make adjustments to maintain product specifications and production targets
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on folder gluer equipment
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical issues related to the machine
• Maintain accurate production records and operational logs
• Follow all safety procedures and company manufacturing standards
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly
• Work with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve machine efficiency

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Prior experience operating folder gluer machines is required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Hands-on experience with folder gluer equipment in a packaging environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Understanding of machine setup, adjustments, and production quality standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
