About the Role

This role leads company-wide quality, safety, and environmental systems across multiple business units, ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement while driving a strong quality culture.


Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop quality teams to ensure consistency across all products and business units
  • Oversee integrated management systems including quality, environmental, safety, and food safety programs
  • Manage external audits (ISO, SFI, FSC, Food Safety, customer audits) and ensure corrective actions are completed
  • Oversee CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) programs
  • Maintain and manage all quality documentation, procedures, and process maps
  • Lead internal audit programs and drive resolution of nonconformances
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA, EPA, sustainability standards)
  • Coordinate resolution of quality issues with vendors, customers, and internal teams
  • Develop and implement company-wide training programs related to quality, safety, and environmental standards
  • Support development and execution of safety programs and new-hire orientation
  • Monitor product testing documentation and calibration programs across facilities
  • Prepare required regulatory reports, notices, and documentation
  • Support hiring efforts related to quality and safety functions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain awareness of industry trends


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality, compliance, or related field (TQM, SPC, ISO)
  • Strong audit and regulatory compliance background
  • Experience leading quality systems across multiple sites or business units
  • ISO and BRC experience preferred
  • Engineering background preferred
  • Corrugated or packaging industry experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
