HiFyve is hiring an Equipment Maintenance Technician for a Manufacturing company!

Salary: $30–$42 per hour, depending on experience and level

Shift:

• Monday–Wednesday: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Thursday–Saturday: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

Location: Southeast Georgia

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, lathes, motors, and other production equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform routine and emergency repairs on machinery and production equipment.
• Inspect equipment to identify malfunctions and determine necessary repairs.
• Use basic electrical and diagnostic tools, including voltmeters and other testing equipment.
• Service and replace mechanical components such as pumps, motors, bearings, shafts, and other machine components.
• Read and interpret basic electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Read and follow equipment manuals, technical specifications, and maintenance documentation.
• Assist with troubleshooting CNC equipment, controls wiring, PLCs, and machine systems.
• Perform facility and equipment maintenance as needed.
• Record completed maintenance work and assist with maintaining maintenance schedules.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and support 6S initiatives.
• Safely isolate hazardous energy and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Use a variety of hand, power, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
• Support continuous improvement efforts focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.
• Work effectively with production and maintenance teams.
• Support additional maintenance projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment preferred.
• Technical training, apprenticeship experience, or equivalent hands-on experience is a plus.
• Basic to intermediate mechanical knowledge.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment.
• Basic understanding of motors, pumps, sensors, switches, and machine components.
• Ability to read and understand basic schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safe work practices.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while also working effectively with a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop additional maintenance skills.
• CNC experience is preferred but not required.
• PLC experience is a plus but programming experience is not required.
• Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to meet applicable employment eligibility and compliance requirements.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working around machinery, industrial equipment, noise, and other manufacturing conditions.
• Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
