HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic (NIGHTS) in the manufacturing industry!

Shift: 6:50 PM – 7:00 AM, 2-2-3 schedule (must be available to work every other weekend)

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Location: Riverside, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery including fillers, packaging equipment, cappers, labelers, palletizers, and blow mold machines used in bottling operations
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment to keep bottling lines running efficiently
  • Operate blow mold machinery in accordance with specifications and standard operating procedures
  • Carry a radio and tool bag at all times to remain accessible and prepared during shift operations
  • Lead equipment changeovers and preventative maintenance processes with the production team
  • Perform basic cleaning and upkeep of machinery to maintain safe and efficient operation
  • Assist in training new employees on equipment operation and maintenance procedures
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure consistent high-quality product output
  • Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and maintain cleanliness throughout production areas
  • Follow all food safety and SQF system requirements, including quality checks and operational procedures
  • Report all emergencies, injuries, and production incidents immediately to the shift supervisor
  • Rotate between tasks as needed to support production needs

Education Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 2–3 years of maintenance or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Forklift certification a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Ability to operate and understand production and blow mold machinery
  • Basic computer skills, with strong Excel knowledge required
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, manuals, and operating instructions
  • Strong written communication skills for routine reports and documentation
  • Basic math skills required
  • Strong attention to detail for quality control and inspections
  • Ability to work a 2-2-3 rotating schedule including every other weekend
  • Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and training support
  • Knowledge of GMPs, sanitation standards, and food safety requirements (SQF system)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety and quality standards
