HiFyve is hiring a Jig Grinder Machinist in the Precision Manufacturing industry in Dayton, OH!

Salary: $28–$40/hour base pay + 15% Shift Incentive + OT + Benefits Day One

Shift: 2nd or 3rd Shift | Flexible scheduling + 4-day work week options

Location: Dayton, OH

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate jig grinding and precision grinding equipment to manufacture high-precision components
• Hold extremely tight tolerances of ±0.0001” or better on machined parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T specifications
• Perform setups, adjustments, and operation of jig grinding machines including Moore, Cincinnati, or similar equipment
• 3+ years of jig grinding, precision grinding, or toolroom machining experience
• Experience in machining, CNC operation, or precision manufacturing environments
• Understanding of blueprint reading, tolerances, and GD&T fundamentals
• Strong math, measurement, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with precision inspection equipment such as CMMs and optical comparators preferred
• CNC machining or CNC jig grinding experience preferred
• Background in tool & die, mold making, aerospace, or other precision manufacturing industries preferred

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical training or certifications in machining, precision grinding, or CNC machining preferred
