HiFyve is hiring an Electrician in the Food & Beverage industry in Norwood, MN!
Salary: $33.75 – $42.16/hour
Shift: 3rd Shift 10pm to 6am Sunday - Thursday
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams to maintain or install plant equipment
- Perform electrical repairs on plant and building systems
- Conduct preventative electrical maintenance
- Troubleshoot and replace electrical components and control panel equipment
- Assist with installation and adjustment of new plant equipment
- Operate electrical test equipment and various hand, power, and shop tools safely
- Ensure equipment operates continuously and efficiently
- Communicate issues to supervisors or leads as needed
- Participate in ongoing training and education programs
- Work with PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems
- Follow National Electric Code (NEC) standards
- Follow OSHA safety procedures and company safety policies
- Report all food safety and quality concerns immediately
Technical Competencies:
- Ability to read and understand safety rules, manuals, and work instructions
- Ability to write routine maintenance reports and work orders
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Ability to interpret written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
- Strong communication skills with coworkers and outside vendors
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Physical Capabilities:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
