Salary: $30–$36 per hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Wichita, KS. This full-time, day-shift role involves maintaining and repairing production equipment, facility systems, and utility infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills, along with a proactive mindset for preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural issues
- Replace defective parts including motors, filters, belts, bearings, and sensors
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain emergency systems
- Respond to facility service requests and perform general upkeep tasks (painting, cleaning, landscaping)
- Document maintenance work, inventory levels, and update maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and contractors on complex repairs and upgrades
- Provide feedback on recurring issues and help train junior maintenance staff
Requirements:
- 5+ years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in electrical systems (low and high voltage), mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs
- Skilled in troubleshooting motors, control systems, and facility infrastructure
- Experience with PLC programming, boilers, and variable frequency drives preferred
- Able to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, enter confined spaces, and work at heights
- Strong attention to detail, adaptability, time management, and communication skills
- Reliable, team-oriented, and open to feedback
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical certificate or associate degree in a relevant field preferred
