HiFyve is hiring a Sr Maintenance Mold Injection Specialist in the manufacturing industry!

Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:50 AM – 3:30 PM must be available to work overtime when needed

Pay: $35 – $40 an hour

Location: Riverside, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adhere to and enforce the highest standards of safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) plant-wide
  • Train and lead Operators, Mechanics, and Supervisors on technical procedures related to processing and mold injection equipment
  • Rapidly identify machine problems to minimize downtime and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
  • Partner with other maintenance mechanics to resolve cross-functional equipment issues
  • Use available software systems to analyze equipment performance and identify issues impacting throughput
  • Maintain and troubleshoot SIPA injection molding machines, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems
  • Perform maintenance on auxiliary systems including resin handling, blending, resin drying, dehumidification, vision inspection, conveying, and cooling systems
  • Maintain mold injection systems, including hot runner and cold half components, identifying wear and troubleshooting through detailed product inspection

Education Requirements

  • 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • Experience with OEM integrations strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong experience with preventative maintenance on industrial equipment, especially injection molding systems (SIPA preferred)
  • Knowledge of resin processing systems, including dryers and material/resin handling equipment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
  • Skilled with tools such as hydraulic/mechanical presses, drill press, mill, lathe, and power tools
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment (calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, depth gauges)
  • Familiarity with PLC systems (Rockwell Allen-Bradley and Siemens preferred)
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating issues and solutions across teams
  • Ability to diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues
  • Strong background in industrial maintenance (10+ years preferred)
