HiFyve is hiring a Facilities Engineering Manager in the high-tech manufacturing industry in Wilton, CT!


Salary: 120K-180K + 15% bonus and relocation

Shift: Full-time, flexible schedule on day shift

Location: Wilton, CT (on-site with remote flexibility up to 1 day/week)


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of industrial automation, control systems, and building management systems (BMS), including PLC, SCADA, and telemetry.
  • Design, program, and maintain control systems (PLC, HMI, VFD) and ensure program backups and software licensing compliance.
  • Lead facilities projects for critical systems like HVAC, boilers, chillers, and process cooling, including P&ID updates and control system commissioning.
  • Act as the functional owner of the facility’s control systems, contributing to Engineering Design Guidelines and long-term utility master planning.
  • Collaborate with key vendors and contractors, ensuring compliance with business objectives, performance targets, and production requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, support innovation in facility systems, and establish best practices in alignment with global standards.


Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Controls Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) and Certified Control Engineer (CCE) certifications are preferred.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Expertise in PLC programming (Rockwell Automation, Logix), HMI, SCADA, and industrial control systems for HVAC and BMS.
  • Extensive experience in the design, operation, and maintenance of complex facility systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam software.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
  • Capable of managing complex systems and making strategic, informed decisions for facility operations.
