HiFyve is hiring a IT Systems Administrator in the advanced technology industry in Kettering, OH!

Salary: $70K + DOE

Shift: Day Shift, M-F

Location: Kettering, OH (On-Site)

Position Overview:

This is a high-impact, hands-on IT leadership role supporting a growing, innovation-driven organization. You’ll serve as the lead IT professional on-site, owning the full IT environment—networks, systems, cybersecurity, and infrastructure—while helping guide future technology strategy. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud, endpoints)
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Microsoft 365
• Lead cybersecurity efforts (EDR, patching, incident response)
• Oversee backups, disaster recovery, and system reliability
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and escalation support
• Drive IT strategy, vendor management, and system improvements
• Mentor junior staff and support company growth initiatives



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 5+ years of hands-on IT systems/network administration
• Strong experience with Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft 365
• Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs)
• Experience with cybersecurity tools (SentinelOne or similar)
• Proven ability to work independently and solve complex issues
• Experience in small-to-mid-size environments (“owning IT”) (preferred)
• Exposure to NIST, CMMC, or government security standards (preferred)
• Cloud or virtualization experience (Azure, AWS, VMware) (preferred)
