Salary: $95,000–$100,000 + 5% bonus

Shift: Night Shift | Monday–Friday, 9:00 PM–6:00 AM

Position Overview

This role leads night-shift maintenance operations at a food and beverage manufacturing facility, supervising technicians while remaining hands-on with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 4–5 maintenance technicians
• Assign and prioritize daily work orders and preventive maintenance activities
• Perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting on production, packaging, and utility equipment
• Ensure PM compliance, maintenance documentation, and spare parts inventory accuracy
• Train and develop technicians and operators to reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot PLCs, fillers, conveyors, pumps, valves, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration systems
• Perform welding, mechanical repairs, and electrical troubleshooting as needed
• Support equipment installations and startups
• Drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with operations to resolve downtime and safety concerns
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, food safety, and plant safety standards
• Complete supervisory duties including timekeeping review, performance evaluations, coaching, and training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical or trade school education preferred
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (in lieu of technical degree acceptable)
• 3+ years of supervisory or lead experience
• Prior food, beverage, or regulated manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with PLCs, ammonia refrigeration, boilers, conveyors, fillers, pumps, and valves
• Welding and fabrication experience a plus
