HiFyve is hiring a Sanitation Supervisor in the Food Production industry!

Salary: $80-90K/yr with 10% bonus

Shift: Monday – Friday, 6 AM – 4 PM

Location: Clara City, MN 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct team members on daily sanitation activities, including cleaning production equipment, facilities, and common areas.
  • Develop and implement new sanitation procedures and updates to Master Sanitation (MSS) programs.
  • Serve as main contact for external vendors related to sanitation, including Hydrite, pest control, and janitorial services.
  • Provide oversight of the plant and warehouse pest control program.
  • Lead environmental monitoring programs, corrective actions, and coordinate steps for the plant EMP programs.
  • Manage validation/verification activities for equipment throughout the facility.
  • Monitor sanitation procedures’ effectiveness and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Complete GMP audits at the manufacturing facility and off-site warehouse.
  • Inspect work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements (FDA, OSHA, etc.).
  • Present Master Sanitation programs and audit corrective actions to external auditors and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor sanitation trends and provide updates to the Food Safety and Quality Team.
  • Develop and update SSOPs and maintain associated training records.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and inspections, providing documentation and support.
  • Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and HACCP standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, chemical usage, and sanitation activities.

Education / Certification Requirements:

  • HACCP Certification, SQF Practitioner, PCQI preferred.
  • Food grade manufacturing facility experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Previous supervisory/leadership experience.
  • 3-5 years previous GMP experience.
  • Strong knowledge of computer software applications.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
