HiFyve is hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic in the Construction Equipment industry in Houston, TX!

Salary: $35–$50/hour DOE

Shift: Full-time, Day Shift

Location: Houston, TX (Field-based)

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment in the field.
• Develop repair plans and perform quality repairs.
• Complete service reports, parts requests, and warranty paperwork.
• Communicate repair status to supervisors and customers.
• Maintain service truck, tools, and work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Use company systems for parts and tool tracking.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate Degree or 4 years apprenticeship experience (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience with heavy equipment and service tools
• Understanding of safety procedures
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
