HiFyve is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry in the Greater Milwaukee, WI area!
Pay Rate: $28 - $35/hr
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Shift: 1st Shift (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical and hydraulic repairs, troubleshooting, and installation/modification of manufacturing machinery.
- Execute the facility’s preventative maintenance program to ensure equipment longevity and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose machine malfunctions by inspecting equipment and consulting blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
- Utilize a wide range of tools, including precision measuring instruments, power tools, hoists, saws, and wrenches.
- Dismantle and repair defective equipment parts, including gears, shafts, bearings, and belts.
- Apply fabrication, welding, and millwright skills to maintain or improve shop infrastructure.
- Clean, lubricate, and monitor fluid levels and filters for motors, drives, and pressure regulators.
- Collaborate with outside contractors and internal teams while participating in safety and OSHA training initiatives.
Education Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma required; Technical training, certificate in Maintenance, or an Associate degree in a related field is highly preferred.

Experience: At least 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience involving pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Experience in a foundry or high-alloy casting environment is a plus.
