Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the food and beverage industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery. This role requires a hands-on individual with a strong mechanical and electrical background to ensure all equipment is operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with food safety standards. 15+ years of experience with Uniloy blow molding machines is required for this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery
  • Extensive experience with Uniloy blow molding machines
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, minimizing production downtime.
  • Lead or assist in the installation, upgrade, and repair of food processing and packaging equipment.
  • Develop and implement routine maintenance schedules and safety protocols for machinery.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine performance and production efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and repair documentation.
  • Adhere to all food safety and OSHA guidelines during maintenance and repair activities.
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to build team capabilities.
  • Stay current on technological advancements in blow molding and food processing equipment.


Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of hands-on maintenance experience working with Uniloy blow molding machines.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with food processing equipment and industry-specific maintenance requirements.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.


Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; a technical certification or degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
