HiFyve is hiring a Field Service Technician in the HVAC industry in La Crosse, WI!

Salary: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Location: La Crosse, WI

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in person to address technical questions.
• Coordinate with the service manager for logistics, planning, and execution of field repairs.
• Provide prompt and professional solutions to customer inquiries.
• Perform remote troubleshooting on equipment issues.
• Oversee and manage new installations at customer locations.
• Travel to customer sites to deliver warranty and technical support.
• Train employees engaged in service tasks.
• Advocate for customer opinions and suggestions to management to support continuous improvement.
• Participate in customer visits and presentations as needed.
• Assist in assembly, wiring, piping, HVAC controls, and refrigeration system setup for new units.
• Test new HVAC units prior to deployment.

Education Requirements:

• Preferred: 2-year HVAC certificate, EPA or 608 Certification
• Minimum: 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry and/or DDC Controls experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High level of analytical ability.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to travel independently up to 40%.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Must be able to climb ladders and lift/move up to 75 pounds.
