Salary: $78,000-105,000

Shift: Day Shift

About the Role

This role is responsible for designing and developing new products, supporting existing product lines, and leading projects from concept through manufacturing while collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams.


Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products and product improvements for manufacturing applications

• Select materials that meet mechanical, environmental, and cost requirements

• Create and modify designs using SolidWorks or similar CAD software

• Partner with customers, sales, project managers, and manufacturing teams to define project requirements

• Develop project schedules and ensure key milestones and deliverables are achieved

• Coordinate prototype builds, pilot production, and product validation activities

• Lead new product launches and transition designs into full-scale manufacturing

• Conduct testing, risk assessments, and design validation to improve product performance and reliability

• Prepare technical documentation, project reports, and product support materials

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product design and manufacturing processes

• Stay current on new materials, technologies, and engineering best practices

• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards


Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required

• 1–3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred

• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software

• Knowledge of injection molding tooling and automation equipment preferred

• Strong project management and organizational skills

• Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering projects

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic statistical software

• Ability to travel to customer locations as needed
