HiFyve is hiring a Production Supervisor!
Salary: $65K - $75K (depending on experience)
Shift: 2nd (1:30 PM -10:30 PM)
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production operations to ensure output, quality, and safety targets are met
- Lead, coach, and develop production team members to drive performance and accountability
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards across the production floor
- Train and direct employees on equipment use, control points, and operational processes
- Monitor production performance and maintain accurate reporting and production records
- Identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and downtime
- Adjust staffing assignments and schedules to meet production demands and deadlines
- Support corrective actions and problem-solving activities on the floor
- Collaborate with HR to address employee relations and performance issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Respond to and manage emergency situations (equipment failure, weather events, evacuations, etc.)
- Serve as a visible leader and positive representative of the company to employees and visitors
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Additional technical or leadership training preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 3–5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment (required)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written in English required)
- Ability to read and interpret production data and reports
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable making independent decisions and solving operational issues
- Experience driving productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to lead small group meetings and team discussions effectively
- Physically able to stand, walk, sit, and lift as needed throughout the shift
- Positive, professional attitude with strong problem-solving mindset
- Manufacturing experience preferred, especially in high-volume production environments
