Location: Onsite - Meriden, CT

Position Overview:

HiFyve is hiring two CNC Programmers for a growing aerospace precision manufacturer in Meriden, CT.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced programmer who can develop CNC programs from scratch and wants to work with advanced multi-axis machining supporting complex aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop CNC programs using Siemens NX / Unigraphics
• Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC equipment
• Create programs from blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
• Determine tooling, speeds/feeds, and machining strategies
• Support simulation, prove-outs, troubleshooting, and production launches
• Optimize cycle times and machining efficiency
• Create setup sheets and process documentation
• Support AS9100 aerospace manufacturing requirements



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 5+ years of CNC programming experience
• Siemens NX / Unigraphics experience required
• Ability to build CNC programs from scratch
• Strong GD&T and blueprint-reading skills
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, speeds, and feeds
• 5-axis programming experience strongly preferred
• Aerospace or other tight-tolerance precision manufacturing preferred
