HiFyve is hiring a Plater in the manufacturing industry in St. Paul, MN!

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour + shift differential

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (overtime as required)

Location: St. Paul, MN

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and control the plating line to coat metal objects for protective or decorative purposes per customer specifications.
• Monitor the quality of plating solutions and inspect finished parts for conformance.
• Follow detailed instructions from work orders, job routings, and supervisory personnel to ensure high-quality output.
• Process products in appropriate cleaning, rinsing, and plating solutions for the specified duration.
• Inspect parts visually and measure thickness using instruments to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Complete all required paperwork for each job accurately.
• Report activities and issues to management.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must have previous Plater experience
• Ability to process parts with minimal supervision for all required substrates.
• Proficiency in basic math and geometry for calculating square footage and amperage requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to retain information and consistently repeat processes accurately.
• Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, humidity, dust, fumes, and loud noise.
