Manufacturer of metal stampings, wire forms, and welded assemblies is looking for an experienced Machinist to join their team.

Location: St. Louis, MO

Shift/Schedule: 1st, 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $25 (depending on experience)

Summary: We are seeking a skilled Manual and CNC Machinist to join our team specializing in metal stampings, wire forms, and welded assemblies. The ideal candidate will operate and set up manual and CNC machines, perform quality checks using precision measurement tools, and maintain machinery for optimal performance.

• Machining Operations: Operate and set up both manual and CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes, grinders) to produce precision components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Tooling and Maintenance: Inspect, maintain, and replace tooling and machine components to ensure consistent performance and quality.
• Quality Control: Use measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs) to verify product dimensions and tolerances meet engineering standards.
• Programming and Troubleshooting: Read and edit G-code programs for CNC machines; diagnose and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaboration and Safety: Work closely with engineering and production teams, adhering to safety protocols and company procedures to meet deadlines efficiently.

 Required Skills/Abilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent required 
• Technical degree or certification preferred 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 3+ years of experience working in a tool fabrication environment
• Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings
• Able to work independently and with other machinists and engineer
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
