HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the food & beverage industry in Zumbrota, Minnesota!
Salary: $32–38/hr
Shift:
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3pm–11pm
OR
3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11pm–7am
with a weekend rotation. When working Saturday or Sunday, you receive two different weekdays off. Must be available to work weekends (either 11am–11pm or 11pm–11am based on scheduling needs).

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and utility equipment while following all safety procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process control system issues to minimize downtime
Support the installation and setup of new equipment
Train and assist operators with equipment use and troubleshooting
Document maintenance work and repairs accurately
Follow all safety policies, GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations
Maintain compliance with state and federal health and safety standards
Perform welding, fabrication, and minor projects (including non-sanitary piping, drain lines, and vacuum lines)
Participate in required training programs, including GMP, HACCP, and SQF
Foster teamwork and uphold company values of safety, quality, and integrity
Perform other duties as assigned
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Two (2) years of formal mechanical/electrical education certification or equivalent maintenance work experience in manufacturing (food industry experience preferred)
Must currently hold a valid 1A Boiler License or Chief Boiler License (required)
SAP experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (e.g., motor replacements, motor control diagnostics)
Knowledge of pneumatics, solenoid valves, and air cylinders
Proficiency with standard maintenance tools and safe work practices
Ability to plan and execute minor projects, including non-sanitary piping and vacuum lines
Experience with pump rebuilds, boiler maintenance, HVAC, VFDs, and sanitary valve repairs
Preventative maintenance expertise, including identifying and addressing equipment issues
Welding skills (TIG/stick) for repair and fabrication
Ability to read schematics and diagnose process control system issues
