Salary: Up to $100,000 base plus annual performance bonuses

Shift: Day Shift

Location: St. Louis, MO


Position Overview:


HiFyve is hiring for a Service Manager from the heavy equipment industry to lead and grow a large service operation for a leading dealership in the St. Louis area. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for the full financial and operational performance of the Service Department, overseeing a team of approximately 20–22 employees including technicians, dispatch, and shop leadership. This position plays a key role in business growth and will serve as a decision-maker for future staffing and operational initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage all day-to-day service department operations
  • Directly supervise service technicians, shop leadership, and dispatch coordination
  • Own service department performance including productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics
  • Analyze operating reports and implement process improvements to drive efficiency
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and manufacturer representatives
  • Identify staffing and training needs and develop high-performing teams
  • Drive continuous improvement in service quality, turnaround time, and operational results
  • Partner closely with branch leadership on growth strategy and operational planning
  • Ensure safety standards and compliance across service operations


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Proven Service Manager or senior service leadership experience in heavy equipment, construction equipment, material handling, or equipment rental environments
  • Strong experience leading large teams (15+ employees preferred)
  • Background in service operations, maintenance, and repair environments
  • Financial and operational management experience (budgets, KPIs, profitability)
  • Customer-focused leadership style with strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume service department
  • 5+ years of service or equipment dealership experience (Preferred)
  • Prior supervisory or management experience (Preferred)
  • Technical or associate degree a plus
