HiFyve is hiring a CNC Machinist in the Manufacturing industry in the Greater Milwaukee area!

Pay Rate: $25 - $29/hr (Based on experience) 

Location: North Milwaukee, WI

Shift: 2nd (2pm-10:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to produce high-quality, intricate parts.
• Focus primarily on machining plastics and small non-ferrous parts—ideal for those looking for a cleaner, safer alternative to heavy steel fabrication.
• Perform basic to advanced setups, including fixture alignment and tool offsets, to ensure production readiness.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify that small, detailed components meet exact specifications.
• Interpret complex technical drawings and mechanical blueprints to guide the machining process.
• Maintain a steady production pace while focusing on individual craftsmanship rather than personnel management.
• Contribute to a premier shop environment known for an incredible safety record and manageable, lightweight workpieces.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical schooling in Machining is a plus.
• 7–10 years minimum of professional experience specifically in VMC Milling.
• Proven experience working with non-ferrous metals or plastics is highly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• technical knowledge of Vertical Machining Centers and the nuances of milling lightweight materials.
• Ability to work with small, easy-to-move parts; this role is perfect for a skilled machinist who prefers to avoid large, dangerous, or heavy lifting.
