HiFyve is hiring a Plumbing Estimator in the Commercial Construction industry in Columbus, OH!

Salary: $56,000 – $80,000 for Estimator level; up to $112,000 for Senior level (depending on experience)

Shift: Full-Time, On-site

Location: Columbus, OH

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform detailed plumbing job takeoffs and develop accurate project pricing
• Obtain and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to define scopes of work and secure final pricing
• Prepare and write clear, comprehensive scope letters
• Lead and finalize job estimates for commercial plumbing projects
• Maintain and update estimating software, databases, and spreadsheets
• Partner with leadership to ensure smooth project turnover from estimating to project management
• Conduct scope reviews and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Support regional estimating efforts and assist other regions as needed
• Minimum 10 years of commercial plumbing/heating estimating experience or equivalent field experience
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing and piping installation
• Advanced math and analytical skills
• Valid Driver’s License required

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Journeyman Plumber or HVAC license, or equivalent experience, preferred
