HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Manager in the Food & Beverage industry outside Harrisburg, PA!
Salary: $74K–$120K + 10% bonus eligibility
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (On-call required)
Position Summary
HiFyve is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a small but critical maintenance team at a cheese concentrate production facility near Harrisburg. This role is responsible for ensuring operational uptime, equipment reliability, and food safety compliance through proactive maintenance strategies. This is a full-time replacement role.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations and develop department strategy
- Manage and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans
- Ensure all plant systems (e.g., refrigeration, boilers, compressed air) are operating safely and efficiently
- Support repairs, capital projects, and equipment improvements in collaboration with plant leadership
- Monitor performance KPIs and utility costs while reducing unplanned downtime
- Maintain proper documentation and compliance with GMPs, OSHA, and food safety requirements
- Direct staffing, scheduling, performance management, and technician development
- Serve as the escalation point for maintenance emergencies and technical troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 5–8 years of experience in maintenance, mechanical engineering, or related field
- 2–3 years of leadership experience preferred
- Must have food or beverage industry experience (dairy not required)
- Strong working knowledge of facility systems and utility infrastructure
- Familiarity with OSHA, GMP, and maintenance best practices
- Certifications (boiler, electrical, refrigeration, wastewater, etc.) preferred
