HiFyve is hiring a Human Resources Manager in the manufacturing industry in Cheraw, SC!


Salary: $100K + bonus

Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift (with occasional evening/weekend hours)

Location: Cheraw, SC


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership and liaison between management and employees.
  • Lead employee relations efforts, resolving conflicts, implementing improvement plans, and ensuring a positive work environment.
  • Oversee talent acquisition activities for both salaried and hourly employees, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Maintain and administer employee records, HRIS system, payroll issues, daily attendance tracking, and Affirmative Action Plans.
  • Provide leadership in organizational development, including succession planning and performance management initiatives.
  • Facilitate training needs analysis, develop and deliver training programs with Corporate HR support.
  • Coordinate leave management activities, including FMLA and Workers’ Compensation.
  • Actively participate in plant committees such as EHS, WCP, and Quality Teams.
  • Manage employee communications and meetings to ensure staff are well-informed and engaged.
  • Support compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and internal company policies.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 5+ years’ experience in an HR management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Proven success in talent acquisition and employee relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and facilitate employee training programs.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Organizational leadership experience including strategy development and change management.
  • Effective negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Preferred: Aluminum packaging background, Master’s Degree, SHRM and/or HRCI certifications, AS400 system experience.
