Pay: $34.00–$36.00/hour (based on experience)

Shift: 2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm

Location: On-site – Franklin, MA

Position Summary

We’re looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician to perform electrical maintenance, installation, and repair work across facility systems and production equipment. This position is responsible for troubleshooting control circuits, maintaining automation systems, and ensuring reliable electrical performance throughout the plant.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, panels, and components (120V–480V, 3-phase)
  • Troubleshoot and repair drives, relays, motors, controls, and power distribution equipment
  • Program and service PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and automation control systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic systems to minimize downtime
  • Use meters, schematics, and diagrams to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
  • Support new equipment installations and electrical upgrades as assigned
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to address equipment concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance and repair activities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Follow all safety procedures and comply with national, state, and local electrical codes

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; trade or technical school in electrical or related field preferred
  • 2–4 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license required (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience with PLCs, automation systems, and motor control centers
  • Familiar with national, state, and OSHA electrical codes and best practices
  • Skilled in using standard electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with maintenance software systems
