HiFyve is hiring a Lead Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry in the Milwaukee, WI area!


This is a hands-on role perfect for a technical expert who enjoys the variety of maintaining both complex CNC machinery and overall plant facilities.


Pay Rate: $30/hr - $37/hr (Depending on experience)

Shift: 1st Shift (6:30am - 2:30pm)

Location: Milwaukee, WI


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary hands-on lead for building, grounds, and machine maintenance, ensuring high-level repairs on CNC equipment and production machinery.
  • Own the reliability of facility equipment to achieve uninterrupted production; develop and maintain a sustainable, auditable Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) system.
  • Diagnose and repair complex malfunctions involving hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems in CNC lathes and machining centers.
  • Oversee the maintenance of physical structures, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general office/shop upkeep.
  • Supervise the work of outside vendors to ensure all facility projects are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintain spare parts inventories, and prepare purchase requisitions.
  • Drive a culture of safety by ensuring 100% compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at all times.


Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 7-10 years of related experience in industrial maintenance (or a equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Journeyman level expertise in mechanical and electrical repair is highly preferred.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to repair and maintain CNC lathes and machining centers at a high level.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and structural repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and complex technical manuals/schematics.
  • Strong oral and written skills for effective interaction with management, internal teams, and external vendors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic work order tracking systems.
  • Comfortable performing both indoor and outdoor work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
