About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager, FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. This role will partner with leadership to provide financial insights, evaluate profitability and margins, improve forecasting, and support strategic business decisions. The position also manages and develops a Commercial Financial Analyst.


Job Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis
  • Develop financial models to support business planning, investments, and growth initiatives
  • Analyze profitability, product costs, customer performance, and product margins
  • Evaluate revenue and margin trends and identify opportunities for profitable growth
  • Perform actual vs. plan and prior-year analysis and explain key financial variances
  • Complete price, volume, and mix analysis as part of month-end reporting
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level presentations
  • Develop annual operating plans and rolling forecasts, including 3+9, 6+6, and 9+3 forecasts
  • Manage and develop a Commercial Financial Analyst
  • Support scenario planning, M&A activities, and other strategic financial projects
  • Maintain financial and ERP data integrity and support improvements to FP&A, reporting, and visualization tools
  • Partner with Finance, Commercial, Marketing, Procurement, and executive leadership


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Travel: Up to 10%
  • 6+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience with a strong FP&A focus
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis experience
  • Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills
  • Experience analyzing margins, revenue trends, financial statements, and business performance
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively partner with and influence stakeholders across the organization
  • Leadership or team development experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, CMA, or MBA
  • Private equity environment experience
  • M&A due diligence or integration analysis experience
  • Experience with Sage, NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP systems
  • Experience with Hyperion, SAP BPC, OneStream, or similar EPM/planning systems
  • Experience improving FP&A tools, reporting systems, or data visualization platforms
  • Project management experience
