HiFyve is hiring a Shop Mechanic in the Construction Equipment industry in Carrollton, TX!

Salary: $20–$30/hour

Shift: Full Time

Location: Carrollton, TX

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair construction equipment in-shop
• Create repair plans and identify needed parts and tools
• Accurately complete service reports and work orders
• Safely operate and maintain shop tools and equipment
• Communicate repair status to supervisor
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology preferred
• 3+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience or equivalent training

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Skilled in heavy equipment repair and diagnostics
• Familiar with hand/power tools and shop equipment
• Knowledge of brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, engines, and more
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• High level of professionalism and sound judgment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate equipment safely
